The official AMD driver update, which addresses the crash issue, has now been publicly released. Players no longer need the beta drivers.
Hey Survivors, we’ve got an update on the official server sunset process. After listening to your feedback and incorporating additional metrics, we expanded our analysis and took a closer look at server activity. As a result of this review, we’ve decided to keep several of the previously mentioned servers online.

As a reminder, last week we announced the start of sunsetting some of our inactive official servers after a careful assessment. Our goal is to ensure that we’re always delivering the best experience possible, and official servers exist as a way for the community to play together without having to host their own. When we launch fresh content, typically, we put up more servers than we need in the long term to match the peak in user capacity; over time, these servers become ghost towns as players have dropped off and are waiting for the next major content release.
On October 15th, we’ll be sunsetting these inactive Island servers:
We still intend to provide capacity at launches as much as possible to meet the higher need during those periods.
We’re working with our partner at Nitrado to offer these saves after the scheduled sunset through Nitrado’s interface. Please stay tuned for more details.
Nekatus, the creator of Fjordur and Svartalfheim, returns with a new map—Astraeos! Set in a vast Greek-inspired world, you’ll explore ancient ruins, sail with custom Trireme ships, and face powerful new bosses. Gear up with custom skins and mods as you uncover mythological secrets hidden throughout the landscape.
Astraeos’ free version will launch on October 10th, 2024, available day 1 for crossplay, with a premium version slated for later in the year!
